Camping (Honeymoon #1)

After the wedding craziness was over and our house guests were gone, we packed up and headed to Shaver Lake. Jason had visited Shaver many times as a kid but I had never visited so I was pretty excited. If you don't know where Shaver is, it is located on the way up to Sierra Summit. We stayed from tuesday to saturday and it was a ghost town up until friday which was nice for us. The highlight of the trip was renting a pontoon boat for a day and fishing around the lake. However the lake hardly had any fish in it so we only caught two, not even big enough to eat. Jason caught a mini-bass and I caught a blue-gill. Pretty pathetic but it was fun none-the-less. We had a great time and the dogs love it too. Glad to be back though and wash the inch thick layer of dirt from my body!

Well, we finally did it...

Yes, after almost a year of planning, we finally got hitched on 9-5-9. Thanks to all who came out to share our lovely evening with us. The weather couldn't have been nicer after a week long heat spell. Everything (well almost everything) was perfect and we had an excellent time. Glad it's over though so we can get back to our normal routine and stop having excuses as to why we neglected the house and yard work!

Here's a couple of pics from our awesome day. Go Todaro's!
